Jean (Huang) Park, pianist

American pianist Jean (Huang) Park is an active performer, teacher, and collaborator. She has performed in many cities in the United States as well as abroad in Norway, Sweden, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic. Jean Park competed in the Schubert Club's Scholarship Competition twice, winning second place in the college division in 2009, and returning in 2013 to win first place in the graduate division. She has participated in a number of international piano festivals and masterclasses. 

Jean Park received her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from Stony Brook University, where she studied with Gilbert Kalish. Jean was awarded scholarship and teaching assistantship at Stony Brook. She previously graduated from Manhattan School of Music completing the Master's in Music degree in Piano Performance and from the University of Washington with her Bachelor of Arts in piano and business. Jean Park is currently adjunct faculty of piano at San Antonio College and University of Incarnate Word.
